What is it like to be at Bari Tango Congress?
A unique festival bringing together top names of the tango world, tangueros and tangueras in a beautiful environment, in Bari. Overlooking the Adriatic sea, Bari has the largest promenade in Italy, and for the first time ever, you will also have the opportunity to participate in the Bari Tango Contest, a contest that is aimed at a maximum of 10 professional-level couple of Tango Dancers from anywhere in the world, who will be selected by a special jury, composed of the Maestros of the Bari Tango Congress and in the final phase, by the spectators of the festival.

With decades of experience and uncountable international tours visiting important cities in South America, Europe, Asia and Oceania, Sebastian and Roxana have defined how tango is danced around the world.
VANESA VILLALBA & FACUNDO PINERO
With a combined experience in companies such as Emotion Tango, Mora Godoy, Tanguera, Forever Tango and Tango Houses such as La Ventana, Piazzolla Tango, Homero Manzi and Boca Tango, Vanessa and Facundo are one of the most prominent tango couples.
CARLITOS ESPINOZA & NOELIA HURTADO
Carlitos and Noelia, with more than 40 years of combined tango experience, have worked together since 2011. They have transformed their dance into an extremely sensual experience, and have been requested in the most important festivals and events in the world.
CLARISA ARAGÒN & JONATHAN SAAVEDRA
World Track Tango Champions since 2015, Clarisa and Jonathan have been an influential couple since 2012. They have performed in the most important milongas and festivals in Buenos Aires and around the world.
SIMONE FACCHINI & GIOIA ABBALLE
Ranking 1st place for the Tango Escenario category and 2nd place in the Tango Salon category of the European Tango championship, and obtaining the 4th place in the World Tango Escenario Championship, Simone and Gioia have left their mark in the tango scene.

One of the greatest musicalizadors in the world, with a vast experience as a Tango dj that has lasted for more than 20 years.
Winner of the Mejor DJ Award at the “Premios Tango 2018” Ceremony in Buenos Aires. He is one of the DJs of “La 2×4“.
SUPERSABINO TANGO GROOVE MASTER
Tango Dj since 1999 after various musical experiences. Special guest at International Paris Tango Festival for 3 years. Official D.J. at International Mantova Tango Festival.
SERGIO CHIAVERINI
DJ since 2001 at Saturday night in Genova at the Milonga Brava and internationally in Cuneo and Turin. Sergio also performed in Buenos Aires, and was the first Italian in “Salon Canning” and at “The National”.
CARMEN VILLAFUERTE DE ANCA
TJ since 2005, Carmen has played in Milongas and international events, such as the “Milonga La Placita”, the Plaza del Museo de Sevilla, the “Milonga de Lola”, I International Festival of Seville.

TOMMASO BATTAGLIA
After studying Argentine tango with important international artists since 2004 teaches Tango, Milonga and Vals.
Organizes exhibitions, events, milongas, workshops in Bari.

How could there be no testimonials? This is by far one of the best festivals out there! I am not sure if I can make it all the days though… When is Marcelo playing? Is there a less expensive recomendation than the Nicolaus hotel?
