Susanna Arbitrio

Susanna Arbitrio

Susanna Arbitrio – artistic name “Susanna e I suoi Vinili” – is a passionate Vynil collector and Vynil Tango DJ participating at several International festivals and marathons.
She loves djing with original Argentinian tango records because she prefers to watch a real painting instead of a printed reproduction. She likes to listen to the music recovering all the instrument’s “brushstrokes”. Vynil has a vibration that can touch emotionally and create a warm atmosphere.
One of the reasons Susanna loves djing is to share her big collection with many dancers that appreciate this sound. She loves tango from the 40s with some touches of the 30s, 50s and 60s

Madia Annese

Madia Annese

Madia has been dancing tango for thirteen years, and for the last nine she got deep into the Argentine music, very carefully proposing pieces that reflect a particular sensitivity. She has performed in major Italian festivals and milongas, and she prefers the great traditional Tangos: the Tangos that excite. She is creating “Tandas” rich in rhythm and melody that inspire couples to an intense interpretation of passion and spectacle: the right balance between the interpreters of the music and the original songs.

Ilias Selalmazidis

Ilias Selalmazidis

Μy mother used to say “this kid danced first, then walked”. Tango met me unexpectedly 14 years ago. The best part of dancing Tango is the interaction between the couple on the dance floor and the way we communicate during the tanda. This interaction is what I am looking for while DJ-ing, but in this case the interaction is created between me and all the dancers. I try to capture moments, signs, expressions of the dancers, or even if it’s possible, feel the energy on the dance floor so I can harmonize it with the next tanda. I have plenty of songs to share that deserve to be heard, and wait to be danced, and I am always curious to see how they could be interpreted through the art of dance.
My preference is songs from the Golden Age. Favorite orchestras: Biagi, Donato, Troilo, Pugliese, D’Arienzo. People have described my music as Seducing, Intense, Rythmic, Flowing, Impossible to sit!
