Last year’s Cosenza International Tango Festival edition:
Performers at Cosenza 11th International Tango Festival:
Juana Sepulveda & Chicho Frumboli
Mariano “Chicho” Frumboli & Juana Sepulveda are an integral part of today’s international tango scene. No other couple combines so well rhythm and virtuosity with silken smoothness. Their dance ranges between strength and lightness, humor and seriousness, lasciviousness, and forward movement. Their teaching is sophisticated and encourages each dancer to find new concepts for his/her own dance repertoire.
Ariadna Naveira & Fernando Sanchez
With a style that identifies them for their musicality and virtuosity, Ariadna and Fernando know how to combine the essential tools of tango with the inherent feel of the embrace.
In a very short time they have been able to complement each other in a harmonious dance that mixes the viewpoint of a modern Tango with the essence of Tango, also making of their teaching a tool to spread their love of Tango in all of its expressions.
Lola Diaz & Fabian Salas
Fabián Salas is a famous Master Argentine Tango dancer, teacher, and choreographer from Buenos Aires, with over 30 years of professional experience. Partnered with his wife, Lola Diaz, they have taught thousands of tango fans worldwide and specifically in Argentina, Brazil, USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, UK, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Norway, Finland, Russia, Greece, Turkey, and other countries.
In 1992, Fabian became one of the first professional touring teachers in history and in 1995, he pioneered the development of a revolutionary way of understanding, teaching and dancing the tango.
