What is it like to be at Tango Magico Festival and Marathon?
The first edition of the Tango Magico Festival & Marathon lasts 4 days and is located in the beautiful capital of Spain: Madrid. The chosen hall has a parquet floor, ideal for dancing. During the festival you will also be able to attend workshops (and special DJ musicality workshops), dance to the music of 6 TJs and La Petit Social Orchestra, and attend the Gala dinner with live music. There are special offers for early birds, and the registration cost is only €50 per person. 10 milongas and more than 35 hours of dancing!

Oscar Del Vecchio
Oscar Del Vecchio is from Buenos Aires, a musician and DJ for 20 years, living in Spain. He has had his own Milongas in Santander, Alicante and Madrid.
He has also played in international tango festivals in Benidorm, Santander, Alicante and Madrid. His style is traditional and modern tango. He is also a teacher in Tando DJs.

Nuria Llaona
Nuria Llaona, is Spanish and lives in Madrid. She has been a tango teacher for more than 30 years and began to play music 5 years ago in Milongas, Festivals and Events in Spain. She has taken courses with Oscar Del Vecchio and Francesco Sanna. Her style is traditional but, when the public requires it, she puts also some modern selections. Nuria is always attentive to the dance floor with great sensitivity and connection with the dancers.

Francesco Sanna
Francesco Sanna is Italian but lives between Argentina, Italy and Switzerland. After many years of study in Argentina and Europe he now teaches tango and musicality.
He is invited as a Musicalizador in the milongas of Sweden, Portugal, Switzerland, Spain, Italy.
To understand the differences in music and dance, behavior, style, approach to this dance, Francesco attended many Buenos Aires clubs listening to the best live orchestras and dancing in the most classic and traditional Milongas.
In addition to this he has a deep knowledge of tango culture, its tradition of its codes and music.
Andrea Venturini
Andrea comes from Buenos Aires, the neighborhood of Palermo. She fell in love with the city of Madrid where she currently lives. Since 2009 she musicalizes and organizes the Milonga Barrio de Tango Trasnoche in Madrid. Also since 2009 she organizes the Milonga del Hondo Bajo Fondo, a self-managed space for the dissemination of tango. Since 2015 she musicalizes in the Social Club of Tango.

Carmen de la Rosa
Every month, since 2002, I coorganize and musicalize the N’Clave de Tango Practice of the Clave Cultural Association 53. Since 2015 I coordinate with Inma Garrido and musicalize the Practitango Practice, as well as other milongas and events of Argentine Tango in Madrid, Ciudad Real, Toledo, Segovia … Since 2015 I direct and musicalize every Wednesday La Milonga Romántica in Madrid.

I was always looking for an excuse to come to Madrid, and I think I just found one 🙂 I am a bit of “tourist tanguero” so I would like to ask the organizers if there are any recomendations on what to visit during the day?
